Overview of Fundraising
Fundraising is an important part of Scouting. Not only does it provide the financial means to do fun things with and for the scouts, it also teaches them many valuable life lessons, such as: public speaking, planning, goal setting, handling money, teamwork, and many others.

Fundraising Uses:
Our fundraising effort helps to make Scouting a great experience for our scouts, siblings and parents. Here is a just a small sampling of the activities supported by your fund raising efforts and participation:
Pack patches, Neckerchief, and Handbooks
Pack meeting refreshments
Pinewood derby kits, trophies, track
Movie Nights
Family Picnic
Rain Gutter Regatta boat kits & party
Scout patches, badges and recognition awards
Prizes and Rewards:
Scouts can receive credit toward volunteer hours, and can also earn credit toward pack events and other discounts for scouting activities. These discounts can be used to help bring family members along on outings or camping weekends.
Ways to Sell:

Take Orders
The Scout and Akela go door to door, and collect the donations for each snack stick sold.
Selling at Work
Mom and/or Dad take snack sticks to work.
Fellow co-workers can place orders for snack sticks directly with Parents.
Mom and/or Dad deliver product and collect the money in a few days.
Show and Sells
Show and Sells will be done around our area. The pack will schedule time at various events locally, and our scouts and their Akela's will help man the booth at various times.
